According to the cooperation protocol with the Secretariat of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, BIRDhub contributed to the debate on the Latvian interests and priorities of Latvian Presidency of the EU Council and promote the exchange of information on events related to the preparation for Latvian Presidency. BIRDhub developed close cooperation with Italian and Luxembourgian organizations, thereby strengthening colaboration between the three presidencies. |

BIRDhub is a member of the international Regional Studies Association. BIRDhub supports the aims of the association - to promote academic debate on various policy issues and the development of in-depth research of regional development issues. |

Under contract with the Society Integration Foundation (SIF) BIRDhub implementats the project "Support For Civic Participation In Sustainable Cooperation", which is partially financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. SIF is a public foundation established in 2001 with the aim to promote and provide financial support for social integration. SIF also supports public and non-governmental sector development programs and projects. |
